One of the most exciting components of Donalda Club is our state-of-the-art fitness facility. The new facility is twice the size it was before, with windows overlooking the wooded ravine and golf course. It features a main floor entrance and access is to a patio discreetly set apart from the Terrace.
The facility in open 7 days a week from 6:00am-10:00pm
The Fitness Centre offers a variety of programs and services to our members, including Personal Training, Massage Therapy, and Group Fitness classes.
With your membership, you will receive an individualized fitness program designed just for you.
The Health & Fitness Centre provides state of the art equipment including the latest technology in cardio equipment, which has integrated LCD televisions.
A wide range of strength training equipment is provided for total body conditioning, including weight machines, free weights, stability balls, and much more!
Our personable and professional staff are always available to guide you through your workouts and provide any necessary training advice. Personal training can help you reach your health and fitness goals, whether it be improved strength, enhanced overall fitness, training for sports, weight loss or gain, injury prevention and rehabilitation, increased mobility, or improved flexibility. Each of our trainers specializes in a unique area, including Sport Specific Training, Older Adult Fitness, Increased Range of Motion, and Nutrition Counselling.
Our qualified Registered Massage Therapists are available for appointments 7 days a week. They have considerable experience treating a variety of clients with chronic health conditions such as tendonitis, arthritis, motor vehicle injuries, and sport and work-related injuries, including stress. Hot Stone therapy will be available in September.
The Fitness Centre also offers a variety of group fitness classes held in a separate aerobic studio and taught by enthusiastic and motivating instructors. Our classes presently include Pilates, Yoga, Power Yoga, Yoga for Men, Intro to Ballet, Karate for Kids, Youth and Teen Hip Hop, Aqua-Fit (during summer months), Muscle Conditioning, Interval Training, Low-Impact classes, Step, Spinning, Core Strength and Stretch, and Cardio Kickboxing.
